COVID-19 Update at EatYourPhoto
Following the latest update from the Prime Minister on the 23rd of March, we’d like to inform our customers of the extra precautions that we are taking to limit the spread of the coronavirus as much as we possibly can.
At this time coronavirus is not considered a food safety issue by the Food Standards Agency or the EFSA (European Food Standards Authority). While we have closed our walk-in shop and local outlets we still operate as normal with our online deliveries.
What We’re Doing
As always food hygiene is a massive priority at our bakery and we ensure that our food safety is kept at a 5-star standard. However, during the COVID-19 outbreak, we are taking additional steps for the safety of our employees and our customers.
- All employees are to wash their hands for at least 20 seconds after entering work, before leaving and before handling any foods.
- Hand sanitiser is available to all staff at all times
- If anyone touches their face they are to wash and sanitise their hands
- Disinfectant is to be used on all kitchen equipment.
We have also limited the working area in our bakery so we can deep clean daily.
We use DPD courier and all drivers are to maintain “contactless” deliveries. When they come to deliver your item the parcel will be left on your doorstep and they will stand at least 2 metres away whilst you answer the door.
You can also add “leave in safe place” instructions on your delivery to assist the driver. You will still get tracking with a one-hour time slot of arrival.
Every effort will be made to ensure that your item is delivered on time however considering the current situation we advise you to allow an additional day for your delivery.
We would like to assure you that we are taking every precaution we possibly can to ensure the safety of our employees and customers, this is our top priority. Like you, we’re keeping a close eye on the news watching for any updates.
Take care and be safe.
